Your Carpica carpet is handmade using premium blended fibres, knotted by skilled artisans who have spent decades mastering their craft. With the right care and maintenance, it will stay beautiful — and grow richer in character — for years to come.
Use a vacuum with suction only. Avoid beater bars, which can distress delicate fibres and pull pile over time.
Use a clean, dry cloth and blot from the outer edge inward. Do not rub — rubbing spreads the stain and damages fibre structure.
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight causes colours to fade unevenly. Use curtains, blinds, or UV-filtering glass where possible.
Rotate the carpet 180° every few months to distribute foot traffic evenly across the surface and prevent uneven wear.
Avoid dragging sharp objects or heavy furniture across the edges. Use soft pads under furniture legs to protect the pile and backing.
A quality rug pad prevents slipping, cushions foot traffic, reduces friction on the backing, and significantly extends carpet life.
Periodically hang or lay your carpet flat in a shaded, well-ventilated space. Fresh air removes trapped odours and refreshes the fibres naturally.
A professional deep clean is recommended every 12–18 months. Use only certified carpet-cleaning specialists experienced with handmade rugs.
